September favourites

There's nothing I love more than a monthly favourites video on YouTube, I think that's because im soooo nosey when it comes to beauty and love a good snoop into people's must haves. So I thought well I try new things all the time, some I love and some I kindly donate to that big box of  'stuff I might use again some day maybe never' ....... You know what I'm talking about!

So each month I will include my favourites into my little are of the blogosphere and maybe something will catch your eye that you end up loving and there we go the worlds a happier place...... Yehhh?

Beauty faves

Charlotte tilbury magic foundation
This foundation is fabulous!! It's described as being 'full coverage Demi matte and long lasting'.
At first I was hesitant about the matte aspect as I usually wear the Charlotte tilbury wonder glow foundation, but I can confirm that this is just the best form of matte you could wish to wear light and breathable but airbrushed. I find this foundation glides on and at first you think hmmm yep that's fine but then it's as if literally by magic excuse the pure cheese it just poof-perfects and minutes later it looks much more amazing! Love love lovvvvvvve.

Nails......
Favourite of the bunch is seche vite, it is a clear topcoat with an ultra glossy finish that dries soooo quickly and makes your nail colour much more chip resistant for a lot longer. At this time of the year I am one of those people that gets very excited by autumn, Halloween, and yes Christmas. These next 3 months are that quarter of the year when it's all about the good things in life, friends, food, cosy nights in, wrapping up and enjoying the hell out of as much as possible.

Snuggling essentials, a cosy throw and of
course candles

Coffee with friends

Home made decorations

Mashed potato on anything but mainly cottage pie
Perfect.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by!! I'm sure you can see why Japan is the perfect place to share your heart with and leave a little piece behind.

Shibuya crossing....

 Lots of ramen....

Delicious beef inside hot steamed bun....

I left something in japan

A piece of my heart is still in Japan somewhere, and that's ok.......

It was just coming to the end of cherry blossom season when we arrived in Tokyo and this was a dream come true, for soo many years I had imagined what it would be like to see the meguro river lined with blossoms, so on our very first morning with a sleepy head and a belly full of noodles that's where we headed.

Hanami "flower viewing" is a sight for sore eyes! the beauty is beyond discription and made even more special as the cherry blossoms only bloom for short time. This is why it's so celebrated in Japan, it symbolises how fleeting life can be and the importance of stopping to immerse yourself in the great things in life.

I dream of food

It's true I dream of food, good food, the kind of food that makes you unable to stop the strange noises of enjoyment evaporate from your mouth. Don't misunderstand me I am no Heston blumenthal, I just love to plan and merge together all the different things I see on TV, in books or on my travels......

The funny thing is food is essential, of course everything in moderation but why not enjoy the hell out of the great stuff.

Saturday night..... Steak, aioli, and rocket! This is a delicious combination and so quick and easy paired with a good prosecco and a warm ciabatta straight out of the oven.

Get in my belly..... Mega noms

Have a great food filled weekend x

A rainy day in cardiff

Doesn't sound great to most but to me it's heaven!! There is something about a rainy day that makes me feel I want to get out there... So that's exactly what I did. Alarm goes off and it's early, my other half has to go into work for a while so rather than just stick my head under the covers and snooooze I put some beyonce on and make myself a strong cappuccino...........

Post caffeine fix and self waterproofing I head out the door and it's not even 9am, I'm stealing a bit of me time to breathe in the fresh air and to walk through puddles like a toddler!! I love it.

... Another coffee

After breakfast in the great outdoors/field five minutes from home I think it's time to get home for a hot shower and cuddle with Steve.... P.s Steve is my cat not my partner and only has cuddles against his will x.
